Description
Curdlan is a white to nearly white powder, odorless, and has good fluidity. In a dry state, it maintains extremely strong stability.
Curdlan cannot dissolve in water, but it can be easily dispersed in cold water and can be treated with high-speed stirring to form a more homogeneous dispersion. Curdlan can dissolve in alkaline aqueous solutions with a pH value above 12, such as sodium hydroxide, trisodium phosphate and tricalcium phosphate.
