Description

DL-malic acid is an organic acid widely used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical and other fields. In nature, malic acid exists in three forms: D-malic acid, L-malic acid, and DL-malic acid. Malic acid is stable under normal conditions and has hygroscopicity when exposed to high humidity. It appears as a white crystal in the triclinic system.

DL-malic acid is packaged in cardboard drums lined with double-layer food grade polyethylene plastic bags, which are prone to moisture absorption and oxidation. During transportation, it should be covered and not mixed with toxic, odorous, or colored powders. It should be stored in a cool, dry warehouse to avoid direct sunlight.
