Description

ε-polylysine is a natural, biodegradable, and antimicrobial polyamine that is made from the polymerization of lysine monomers via the ε-amide linkage. ε-polylysine is mainly produced through microbial fermentation, utilizing bacteria such as Streptomyces albulus. ε-polylysine is widely used as a natural preservative in food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals due to its potent antifungal and antibacterial properties. ε-polylysine has become a popular choice for manufacturers looking for clean-label, non-toxic preservatives.

Advantages:

Natural and Safe: ε-polylysine is a natural preservative produced by microbial fermentation. Its monomer is one of the eight common amino acids in the human body, and it does not cause harmful effects on human health.

Broad-Spectrum Antibacterial Activity: ε-polylysine exhibits significant inhibitory effects against both Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, and yeasts. Additionally, it can be used in combination with hydrochloric acid, citric acid, malic acid, etc., to further enhance its preservative capability.

Food Preservation:
