Vitamin C Palmitate, also known as ascorbyl palmitate, is a fat-soluble antioxidant. Its chemical name is 6-palmitoyl-L-ascorbic acid, with the molecular formula C₂₂H₃₈O₇ and CAS number 137-66-6.

Chemical and Physical Properties

Vitamin C Palmitate is a white or off-white powder. It is almost insoluble in water but readily soluble in ethanol and methanol, and nearly insoluble in dichloromethane and fatty oils.
